LEP Chair takes up strategy role with NHS Test and Trace
D2N2 Chair Elizabeth Fagan CBE has joined NHS Test and Trace as its first Marketing Strategy Director in an interim capacity.
The appointment starts with immediate effect.
Elizabeth will play a key role in setting the overall marketing strategy for NHS Test and Trace.
The new service has been launched to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and therefore enable more people to get back to a more normal way of life.
Elizabeth was formerly Non-Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Boots UK and has been Chair of the Board of the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership since 2018.
Deputy Chair of the D2N2 LEP, David Williams will take over as interim Chair of D2N2 until Elizabeth returns.
David is Chairman of Geldards LLP and has a wealth of experience on the board of the D2N2 LEP and has been the Deputy Chair since September 2018.
On her appointment, Elizabeth Fagan CBE said: “My decision to be part of this national initiative is to help the nation in its response to the pandemic. I will continue to remain in touch and remain fully behind our collective ambitions for the region’s economy, especially as we move towards planning for recovery."
